Before you order
Trimmer carburetors live a hard life: they sit through winter with old fuel in the bowl, they get shaken at full throttle for an hour, and their diaphragms harden long before the engine is worn out. When the primer bulb stops pushing fuel or the engine only runs on half choke, swapping the whole carburetor is usually faster and cheaper than rebuilding it.
Every kit in this aisle is matched to a Zama or Walbro original by part number — RB-K93 for the Echo SRM-225 family, RB-K75 for the SRM-210, C1Q-S97 and its cousins for the Stihl FS38 through FS85, C1U-H60 for the Ryobi and Homelite 26cc and 30cc heads. Look at the stamp on your old carb body, match it here, and you are most of the way to the first pull.
Questions we get
Do I need to adjust a Huztl trimmer carburetor out of the box?
Usually not. We set the high and low screws at the factory and wet-flow test every unit. If the engine idles too fast or bogs at full throttle after a few tanks, a quarter turn with a splined tool is all it needs.
My Echo is an SRM-225 — which kit do I choose?
All four SRM-225 options fit the same trimmers. They differ only in what comes in the bag: pick the one with two air filters if yours is caked, or the housing kit if the choke lever is cracked.
Can I run E10 fuel through these?
Yes, up to 10% ethanol. Higher blends eat the yellow fuel line in a single season, so drain the tank before storage.
