A chainsaw carburetor has to hold a steady mixture while the saw is upside down, sideways and bouncing in a cut. When the diaphragm stiffens the saw starts, revs, then dies as soon as it touches wood. A new carb with fresh gaskets and a spark plug turns that saw back into a tool you can trust in the woodpile.
The Mantis tiller sits here too because it shares a 2-cycle heart with the saws: a small Walbro-style carb that gums up if last season's fuel stays in the tank. Our C1U-K54A replacement fits the 7222 family and the Echo TC-210 cultivator with no drilling and no guesswork.

How do I know which Echo CS-310 carburetor I have?
Read the serial number on the saw. Our WT-946 carb fits the four CS-310 serial ranges listed on the card.
Will the Poulan PP5020AV kit fit a PP4818A?
Yes — it replaces the Zama C1M-W47 used on both the PP5020AV and the 2-stroke PP4818A, as well as the Craftsman 358.35098x saws.
Do I need to retune a chainsaw carb after installing it?
Start with the factory setting. If the chain creeps at idle, back the L screw out slightly or lower the idle speed screw.
